Though I speak a lot on the practical side of getting known and attracting clients, there’s a other side (the one people a less likely to be want to be aware of) and that’s your vibration, or the energy you are putting out.
This energy is attraction too … or it’s repelling.
When as coaches we start to get worried, anxious, that we aren’t getting enough clients it really lowers our attraction ability.
We’ll come across as pushy, or desperate on our conversion calls.
We do things like making cold call messages hoping that people we don’t know will instantly like us and want to talk to us and that might lead to a sale …… it won’t.
Each time we get a rejection, it drops our attraction factor even lower as our anxiety and worry starts spiralling down to insecurity, fear, despair and powerlessness.
If you have ever seen the Abraham – Hicks Emotional Guidance Scale you will recognise that this is the very lowest of vibration and energy.
If you find yourself in this place, you want to raise that energy. From anything up to Hopefulness, Belief, Passion, Joy, Empowered. It’s at these emotions your vibration shifts, and then people are more likely to be attracted to that energy particularly if they are in that energy themselves or wanting to receive more of that energy.
Here’s a very simple way to position yourself back in that vibration and energy.
Think about what makes you feel those emotions.
For many coaches, I find they are most enthused, passionate, empowered and in joy when they are on a coaching call with a great client.
So to renew your self belief, get on a coaching call with one of your favourite clients and COACH because that’s what you love and do best.
If you don’t have any clients, offer a free coaching call to someone who needs it and feel how empowered, passionate and enthused you are on and after that call when you see the difference you make. Don’t bother with the selling. Just Coach.
I know that seems counter intuitive to what you’ve been taught – to be paid your worth and I get that because I want you to be paid for your talent.
But if you are struggling, reframe it.
The free call/s will give energy renewal and tap into your self belief and passion. Both VERY IMPORTANT for ATTRACTING PAYING CLIENTS.
It will also be of huge benefit to your free client, further raising the vibration and energy around you and your work.
Also, as to increase the staying power of this raised vibration and energy, ask for a testimonial. That way, you are gifted even more from your free coaching call and adding to your emotional scale.
One thing I’d ask is for you NOT to make a habit of doing free coaching calls if you have no paying clients, because free can very soon turn to resentment if it goes on for too long.
As long as it lights your fire it’s powerful. As soon as you start to feel frustration around free it doesn’t. and you’ll know it’s well and truly time to ASK for payment
